Christmas And New Year Coming Up

I am scared. Christmas and New Year are getting closer and I need to find a way NOT to gain weight again. I’ve actually gained weight every Christmas since I started keeping track of my weight. I usually end up with 4 kilograms of extra weight after Christmas and New Year are over. Since I can’t seem to get myself not to eat so much during this period I have decided to eat less 2 weeks before Christmas starts, this way I lose some extra weight and then during Christmas I can eat without worrying about my weight. So far i’ve lost 3 extra kilograms, another 1 to go :)

I’ve also increased my exercise time. I am spending about 2.5 hours a week on my exercise bike, and can see some improvement. My wife even mentioned my buttocks are starting to look nicer!

  1. You just have to have you a plan set up before that time comes. If you have a plan set up you will be better a handling the temptation!

    same thing happens to me tooo.. but our celebrations are just like that only we cant do much in that .. but it is realised that we need to keep track of our weight… taht will surely enable us to keep off the temptation.

  3. I have to admit that I just let it happen over Christmas – my one true splurge per year. I only eat like that on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, but over those 2 days I just cut lose. Then a juice fast or similar between Christmas and New Year usually gets me back to where I started. How did you get on?

    I was able to keep the weight gain limited to 2 kilograms. Which isn’t too bad if you consider previous Christmas celebrations! Though that was 4 months ago, I am now much lighter again.
